Forum request: Posts started by...

While ya'll seem to have the hood up on the forum, I have a request. When looking at a given user, would it be possible to add 'Posts started by X' in addition to view posts? I find myself often looking for a thread I recall but not the name of the thread. I know who started by the thread and would like to be able to have a button that shows my all the posts started by that person - not every post they've ever commented on. That makes it virtually impossible. TIA!

Perhaps integrate identifying all past screen names, since changing screen names willy-nilly is a thing here.

Which raises a question I hadn't thought about before, when somebody changes their name, does their old name become available for other users. Like, could I either change my name to (or create a new account as) Stampie or ProDarwin while they're busy playing with emojis? If not, that seems kind of wasteful for user names as people 'collect' user names. But if so, how would the search history (and other users) differentiate between the two?

Try it an see what happens

Right now anything I post will be berkeleyed in search, because when searching google, I often include "ProDarwin" in the text, but now it shows up nowhere on this page.  And when I change my name back, this post will still have my current name.

Yeah, that would be the #1 use for me. Just finding my own build thread can be a chore sometimes. You know how often the word "Mustang" gets mentioned around here? 

Even more interesting is that you can change it to a user name that's in use also.

Some people just have to stir E36 M3 and break stuff any time they are allowed to.

Those people are frequently the reason we can't have nice things.

You all realize if we spend money cracking down on display name system abuse, that's money we're not going to spend building cars or going to events or printing magazines or paying staff, right? Will politely asking you guys to play nice work? I'd really rather not solve this with money as it seems like a total waste vs. other stuff we could do (and other forum features requested).
