My friend John's sister is attractive, once a model but makes bad life choices. She married an older guy who passed away some years ago leaving a 911 with her then teenage son. He doesn't know anything about it, hasn't run in 10-12 years. John and I are driving down to pick it up and haul it back to his place.
John has no use for it as he has four sailplane projects, too many cars and a new house, good news is that it has a clean Title, it's three miles from my house and no one wants it.
Film at 11:00 .........
Where is the bad life choice?

What year? any other condition issues? I would love to find a toy like that. can't wait to se pictures and details.
This seems fortuitous. Now is the time to change your name to 911Driver. Or... 911Mellencamp, whichever.
Oh, I’m pretty sure that someone wants it...
.......I'll take "things that never happen to me for $1,000 Alex."

Is this the 993? I remember someone posting about a neglected 993 not too long ago.
Well it seems like the deceased gentleman made a decent life decision. Point of view, perspective and all that. Also 911 Porker and the words "no use" don't go together.

Pictures of the sister and the 911?
Hell with the 911, pics of sister!
But good score!
Picture of the sister in a Whitesnake pose on the 911.
I had the "gifted/cheap 911" happen to me once. Then the alarm clock woke me up, the dream ended and I drove my 97 Saturn to work. To make the whole thing worse, I'm pretty sure it was a Monday.
Can't wait for the "film at 11:00". Please link the soon-to-be epic build thread. And start working on your Magnus Walker beard.
I can't grow a beard, let alone a Magnus Walker! I will have my phone or a camera. I'm just helping the guy out, if something comes of it, fine. He's a CFI, CFI-G and A&P, maybe he can help me someday.

Talked with John this morning, he thinks it could be a 1984-85. Hubby worked in the garment industry and in '84-85 or so they gave 911s to the top guys or salesmen. He kept it at a summer home in Rhode Island, not Manhattan where he worked.
I didn't even get a crummy watch.
My poor life choices involve sewage backups, crappy Buicks and walking home, never Porsches and Former Models!

I kinda did tho...
