I'll watch the video later, but I find that it's not unusual for a Pit to be an order of magnitude smarter than their owners. It might be why so many get nutty.

All three of our dogs our rescues. In spite of this we were approached at a Humane Society event and asked why we didn't get pit bull. Just an FYI saying "We would've but none of the available ones matched our decor" doesn't help the situation.

The little girl from across the street was out with her Pittie when Mom and I were out for one of her rehab walks.

They crossed the road when it was obvious I welcomed a chance to meet that brindle beauty. The little girl politely thanked me for petting her dog.
