Rationalizing the fleet since I no longer have a commute, and have joined the anonymous masses of crossover drivers.
2021 X3e plug in hybrid replacing a 2015 i3 REx and a 2008 328xi.
Still, wouldn't say it's a rational fleet, as it still includes the i8.

An X3e is exactly what I picture a mashup of an i3 and 328xi would be, so well done on consolidating.
And I cut the number of cylinders in half as well, from total of eight down to four!
We tested one a few weeks ago and it was brilliant. A decent mix of everything for a daily driver.

My impression as well after having been given one as a loaner.
A little pokey getting up to speed electric only, quite spritely when both electric and gas are active-- sub 6 second 0-60.
I thought this was going to be about a Toyota Prius or a Camry. I was pleasantly surprised.
My friend has an X3 x drive with the turbo 4. It's a fantastic all-around car, and that ZF automatic is brilliant. The hybrid can only make it better, right?
My mother just went from a 2010 Denali that she loved, to a 2020 x3m40 and holy hell that thing is really, really nice. Obviously it doesn't tow as well as the Denali but it does everything else better. The only thing I don't like are the seatbelts. I'm cruising down the long driveway and get ratcheted back into the seat.
Congrats, that blue is striking in person.
So, 1000 miles (nearly) into ownership after not quite a month-- over half the miles are still electric.
I wouldn't say you are any type of faceless, that thing is beautiful!

Given these days Camry comes with blood red leather interior, black panoromic glass roof, quad pipe exhaust - things we had to buy a M3 to get....

FAKE quad pipe exhaust. Sit behind one at a light some time.
It baffles me why they would go to the expense of adding fake outlets and then not punch another little hole in the muffler.
Got my vanity plates for the car today--
