Even my beloved TDIclub is getting a bit fanboi-ish for my tastes... I'm still avoiding it after getting into an arguement with some tool about batteries... it's a friggen battery... type 94... buy it at Pep Boys... or the dealer... what's the big deal? But no... there's gotta be a 15 page debate about the stupid things...

The autocross forum on the Vortex isn't too bad... although it's not heavily visited.

Just last week this board pushed me into spending $1800 on my first E30. Sure, it was not a one day push but rather a long ongoing push from years and years of being here.
GRM has clearly been an influance on my last 6 car purchases.

I am also proud to say that I have never once posted in the Ignore Thread. I guess that means that I have clearly ignored it.

This place has me desiring all kinds of stuff. An FC and a P71 mostly.

Thankfully I already own one of the Holy Trinity.

This place has more than influenced my car purchases. ('91 Miata, '92 MR2, '87 325is, '94 Protege, etc.) I also had no idea you could get a car for under $500 (my last 8 now have been under $500 or free) and I really had no idea anyone could achieve the kind of performance some of you are getting for under $20XX.

Well, i could say thanks to this place, they have influenced most of my purchases. I have already bought 1 car and plan on purchasing another off the 2009 forum! Once again, an awesome group of dudes and gals to talk to and i appreciate everything!
