I can't remember the name now, but there is a guy on Instagram that goes to thrift shops and buys old paintings and paints modern and sometime horror characters into them. Pretty cool.
I love looking at Renaissance paintings where animals are involved because 9/10 it is the shape of an animal with a human expression or something that doesn't look remotely similar.

I've been led to believe that the artists were commissioned to make the animals look as massive as possible, so that it would boost the status of the farmer who owned the animals.
