I have a significant amount of automotive related diecasts, unbuilt model kits and books that I'd like to sell. A lot of this stuff would appeal to an international audience.
Where do you suggest I try to list them to maximize my return?
Is Ebay worth using or has the fee structure gone crazy in the last 10 years since I've sold on my account?
Am I correct in thinking that Facebook Marketplace is more of an aggravation than a reliable place to sell? Same question, but substitute Craigslist.
Would an auction site be the best bet? I have a lot of out of production items that are new in the box and that are somewhat hard to find.
Thoughts from the hive?
I still sell eBay. I dabble in FB but it's easiest on eBay.
I have a lot of chachkee antiques from my dad. A huge sickle, a large tree saw, old steel wheels. Crap that's old and cool and hard to ship.
Thanks. I have a lot of easy to ship items. Here's a partial look at what I'm going to sell.
eBay eBay eBay. The audience is well worth the cost of advertising.
Pack and weigh first. Then you can put the package details into eBay, the buyer knows the shipping cost and pays it, and eBay can automatically print a shipping label for a slight discount.
All you have to do is keep track of which item is in what box. When an item sells, print label and drop in mail. Super easy. No worrying about addresses, getting unexpected high costs for shipping at the post office, etc.
I think you have to connect a bank account to eBay now though, and they deposit your money directly.
Let us have first dibs, please. (if you want)

Agreed! There are more than a few collectors here.

Sure. I'll just have to put a lot of work into pricing everything.
I sent you an email regarding the Midnight Z diecast. Very interested in that for my son.
