The bread they ate 5000 years ago bore no resemblance to the starched, bleached, enriched, homogenized, processed, chemical-ridden loaf of uniform bland whiteness they pass off as "bread" at your local Piggly Wiggly. They legally shouldn't be allowed to call it "bread", any more than they can call aerosol- propelled lactose "cheese".
