Gave my daughter a set of coveralls. She was psyched to have a protective layer for garage work (seen here learning how to replace wheel bearings).
A diverse lineup of vehicles the GM diversity training video says as it shows 4 silver crossovers, followed by the next slide saying "A company cannot survive selling only one type of product." THEN WHY THE berkeley ARE YOU DOING THAT?

Oh, they also sell light grey crossovers, and for the really wild ones, DARK gray crossovers!

The quiet part they said loud was "different price points". They basically want to sell you at the highest price you're willing to pay. So a single blue collar working mom gets the bowtie, and the DINK couple gets the wreath and crest.

I recently happened to go on Chevrolet's website for some forgotten reason. I was stunned to find that under "CARS" they listed exactly two: the Spark and the Malibu.

Nice. The above picture was Mrs. VCH, albeit about 12 years ago, right after we first met.

If i'm not mistaken all of those crossovers are built on the same platform. Probably in the same plant..

And they haven't built a new Malibu since last February due to chip shortages. It's also slated to die with no replacement in 2024. The Spark dies this year. The Camaro dies next year. Corvette production has been so on-and-off it isn't even funny. Buick hasn't made a car in a couple years. Cadillac can't make up their mind what they want to do.

So wait. You are saying companies diversity statements are just lip service marketing meant to appease those naive enough to actually believe it?!?!?

My father talks about when Titanic came out, a guy he worked with went and saw it, and was telling everyone about it on break. His exact words were "I dunno, I thought it would end differently." They all started laughing at him and were like "You knew how it was going to end! What, did you think it was going to miss the iceberg this time?"
