This may get be banned, but I think most old Ferraris are kind of ugly.
6 weeks before Mothers Day, I had no idea what to get DW as a present.
3 weeks before Mothers Day, I still don't have any idea what to get DW as a present.
Getting out of bed every day is a massive undertaking for me.
I recognize I should be more positive, but I feel it takes more than just a mindset to snap out of it.
Might be the time to get a new job. While I am thankful for the ability to keep self defense measures at hand on the clock, I'm sad at the prospect of having to.

This. Exactly this.
Even the initials work!

Oh crap.
And mother's day is also the day before my wife's birthday this year.
Double crap.

Come on man. Bro country isn't that bad. I'm also not certain the defense would hold up in court that you were in fear for your life due to Bro country.

Well, in the past 30 days I've had to explain to at least one person that no, open carrying is not legal in florida and an especially bad idea, recent turmoil making it.... unpleasant to be a white male, and then a guy yesterday picking fights with other customers and eventually making an insinuating comment to the effect of "not going dirty harry on the place" after I told him I would not in fact give him his money back because it is not my fault he bought the E36 M3tist car on earth and the obd2 has been disabled so I can't program his key......put me back on obt, berkeley.
Oof. Yeah, thise guys are fantastic. Open carry guys make us ccw guys look bad, generally. And try to be the biggest most intimidating pseudobadass they can.
My confession is that im super self conscious about carrying these days because the state of the world. But its even more frustrating as im in a line of work and area where its more or less required now more than ever. It doesn't help that me getting fat makes me print more.

Well, and the thing about wanna be badass, is we all had him marked as soon as he walked in. You can tell sometimes. White boy in street wear 15 years out of date and E36 M3ty tattoos is a big tell. Ans considering what some of my coworkers have done in the past for employment, I'm not worried for me- I just am tired of dealing with it.
I may have done something.
Actually, I'm just car-sitting until the lease transfer paperwork is finalized. My buddy is having his fiance move in with him at the end of the month and his 2 car garage was bursting at the seams. I agreed to take the car, the tire trailer, the stock tires (unmounted) and the autocross wheels and tires (Konig Hypergrams and 595s).
The car is a 2020 Club with only 2256 miles on it. So far he has installed a Hard Dog rollbar, a Karcepts front sway bar, better rotors and pads, the aforementioned Konig wheels and Federal tires, put 225/45ZR17 Falken Azenis RT660 on the stock BBS wheels and installed a trailer hitch to pull the tire trailer.
He wants $2k for all the mods, trailer, everything. I felt that was a good price.
The sucky part is that I agreed to not drive it until it's in my name and under my insurance. I have to look at it every time I go into the garage .
In reply to Duke :
Thanks!
The plan is to sell my truck to either Carvahna or Vrrrooommm and then sell my Forte for like $2k. The Miata will be my only vehicle. I need to simplify my life.
In reply to bentwrench :
It's literally killing me not to be able to drive it.
I should really just call my insurance company and see if they can do something.

The fact that you know when mothers day is - is a really good start.
And now i do too

2010 Forte Koup EX
148k miles, 2.0L, 5 speed manual
I have installed a Cosmo Racing shifter and delrin shift cable bushings, Kia alloy pedal covers and a used K&N intake (all the power!). The rear shocks got replaced with KYBs. The fronts I wanted to put Konis in but they are $$$. I also have new in the box, Eibach lowering springs and a Pierce Motorsports 19mm rear sway bar that will go with it. The tires are about 2 years old and have about 5k miles on them.
It runs and drives great but I usually drive my truck to work so it's just been sitting. It needs to go. $2k to any GRMer who wants it.

If that was a 4 door I'd be on my way. Baby seat in a coupe is a total pain.
Someone NEEDS this car.
In reply to Appleseed :
When I was married and my son was an infant, we had 2 New Edge Mustangs. Hers was a yellow V6 coupe and mine was a black convertible Cobra.
Yeah, coupes suck with kids (especially in ginormous car seats).
The interior is in great shape except for some scratches on the dash from me removing the radio to fix the A/C button. It had just popped out of the faceplate.
The car has been serviced with Kia OEM oil filters and Mobile 1 full synthetic. I drained the old transmission oil and put in Redline MT90 which greatly improved the shifting action. I recently replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders with OEM Kia parts which fixed the clutch issue (the master was leaking internally).
I live in a constitutional carry state so I see people carrying guns literally every day.
Open carry is great in the woods but when you are around people? I want the fact that I have a gun be a total suprise to everyone if I have to use it.
It's not the most popular opinion but I feel that people that open carry constantly are mostly doing it because they wanna feel badass and have very tiny man features.
In reply to Antihero (Forum Supporter) :
You're absolutely right. The first guy was carrying a hipoint in an uncle mike's....and had several things about him that are censored content around here that made it very clear he was looking for someone to tell him something. We ignored him. I only confronted the second one because he was grossly misinformed about what in fact is legal and he was making my retired cop friend/coworker very itchy.
I'm still very self-conscious about my Franconian dialect, which is why I often hardly ever speak German around other Germans whom I know are not Bavarian or Franconian.
Lately I've been streaming Mechwarrior Online (for all you Battletech fans), and a consistent visitor and now teammate has been another German. I made the decision to stop being ashamed of my "farmer German" and just jumped straight into it. I still tend to speak "Hochdeutsch", which is the formal standard language, but I'm not afraid to let my local slang out every now and then.
It honestly feels amazing to routinely speak German with someone again that isn't family.
