It has been a while since the last Sumerian/Mesopotamian cult hasn't it?
I was thinking more "birds are real, lightning bugs are actually drones", but hmm, maybe a cult to Dagon could really take off these days.

I successfully trolled DW on the way home. She was asking if her S60 had manual mode for the automatic, so I said "Sure!" and nudged it over into sport mode.
I bumped it down a few gears while feeding just enough throttle to maintain airspeed. She grabbed the weenie handle and yelled "No no nononono!" while bracing for impact as I turned onto our street going roughly 5,000 rpm in first... at the stately speed of about 27 mph.
Since I'm heading down the road towards ownership of a 2022 Supra, I joined a Facebook group to see what the chatter was like.
I'd like to be able to say "Not to judge" but I actually will. So much catless downpipes, muffler deletes, brags about tunes, complaints about unable to tune, carbon fiber badges and steering wheels. Some wheat among the chaff, but an awful lot of chaff.

If it makes you feel any better, 2 of the fastest folks at our Club's autocrosses both bought Zupras to run. One of them is Danny Kao.

Grabbed the weenie handle. So that's what the kids are calling it these days

I knew someone would comment on that. I'm just glad it was you.
I'm getting pretty schwacked off of one caipirinha. It was mostly rum though. I'm going to have another even though I have to be at work tomorrow at 6am.
This can't possibly end poorly .
I had lunch at Taco Bell with a guy who was nominated for the Nobel Prize in medicine.
He chose the restaurant.

I suppose that's one way to stay in practice.
Today I replaced a nearly 50 year old garage door opener that functioned perfectly simply because I can't replace the remote and it's so old the new tech receiver upgrades don't work either. Anyone need an ancient Genie opener?

There just has to be some GRM-style but completely inappropriate use for that.
I've always been a Camaro fan, but this hood on this generation looks most trashy than a rusty primer '77 camaro with long shackles and mismatched Cragers

Today I saw two kids, about eight years old, walking down the street.
One was pushing a bicycle, the other was carrying a ramp.
It gives me hope for the future.
After starting this new job and quickly realizing just how bad my conditioning is, I saw a pic (of myself) today that was taken pre-Covid and pre-cast.
Oh, man I've got my work cut out.
And it starts tomorrow.
I don't think I've ever been at a location where there has been live music that I have gone "Oh, good, live music."

Unless I paid for said live music, I rarely find said live music to my tastes. I'm not a fan of off cadence jack Johnson tunes or bad ac/dc covers.

We've been under lockdown for a long time and it pretty much ended yesterday. I couldn't give a E36 M3 about dining out, or shopping for shoes (which I desperately need) but the gym? I couldn't wait.
And it was awesome. I'm going to be sofa king sore tomorrow. And I'm going back
I'm finally old enough and wise enough to realize it doesn't matter what side of political spectrum you're on, it's all bullE36 M3. Every side is corrupt, scare mongeruing is real, and us people fall for the stupidest E36 M3 and make dived upon us..
I am turning in to a caricature of the old mid life crysis white guy.
Just got into my 40's and I already have the red corvette, started riding motorcycles again and have been using TRT for years to keep up at the gym. If I start using HGH and wearing skull rings or gold chains you all have the right to beat me upside the head.

Plus, every amateur band - without exception - plays too loudly for a space twice the size of wherever they happen to be.

Proof that I'm not a total shiny happy person dad. We're about to do the tour.

Not to worry.
As long as you're not looking at Harleys there's still hope
