I have to pay some of my daughters college tuition and set up our payment plan this week. I'm waiting on a check and might need to move some money around but I came across this and I'm wondering if I can find some extra money to buy this.
I've conveniently forgotten that we're in the middle of a kitchen remodel.
Dang.

Burger King has a better tasting burger than McDonalds.
Next time you have a styrofoam cup, bite it a few times. Don't eat it, just bite it. Remember the taste. Next time you chew into a Whopper, think of that taste.
It's the same. Whoppers taste like styrofoam. I'll die on this hill.
Whoppers have too much stuff on them. I'm a fan of the simple cheeseburger.

I've found that it's really region- and store-specific.
Whoppers to me taste like lovely lovely caramelized ground beef, mayo, tomato, and onion. It's the only time I look forward to eating tomatoes.
McDonald's tastes like something that has been processed with corn syrup as its main ingredient.
Ended behind a ZL1 Camaro the other day. Sounded like ass.

I stumbled across a live feed from lollapalooza. Limp Bizkit was coming on stage so I decided to see what was up. Two things struck me- it's really hard to parse that they qualify as classic rock these days. And- I know a shocking amount of their lyrics. I basically was word for word the entire set.

The front half sounds a LOT better.

To be fair, that was the end you were listening to.
I want an older Mini, or to have an E34 again, which would be perfect to pick up my newborn with come December/January.

I presume it was in v4 mode at 1200rpm. I also heard one. They do get better, I think, with the judicious application of hooliganism.

We have in our chronic care a donked Camaro SS. It has weird flappy things in the rear mufflers to make it sound more normal-ish when in four cylinder mode. I know this, because they came unplugged once, and this sets a fault code.
It'll suck when corrosion inevitably sets in and causes the mechanisms to seize. Mostly because it will be really hard to keep a straight face while explaining that the muffler bearings are bad.
I have a new horn that I really want to install on the Volvo, but I'm sitting out on the patio drinking beer with the dog instead.
I'm retired.
It's going on 8pm and I'm thinking of going to bed.
I'm only 59!

Nothing wrong with that idea. Go for it!

Kid went down at 7:45, then got up, then went down again. Wife is now in bed. I'm about 50/50. Have to go downstairs to shut down the house, so maybe I'll spend an hour cleaning the garage. Either that, or bed.

Happened to my friend's Focus RS almost immediately after buying it. The muffler valve got stuck and then the car wouldn't allow it into the fun modes until it got fixed. Some PB Blaster and a rap on the end of the valve shaft with a rubber mallet freed it up.

I'm 61 soon, and took my 4 year old Grandson to the lake for the weekend- Saturday morning to this afternoon, including 210 miles each way. I will be in bed fairly quickly after I get Clark there, I can assure you
When I retire, I'd like to get more involved with the Latvian Women's Beach Volleyball program.
Minor Confession:
It ain't the hats...
I am very surprised to find that my Tahoe is apparently too light for Sundae Cup.
I'm getting old. I ordered orthopedic inserts for my work boats and I'm excited they'll be in tomorrow for me to try out.
If I ever get written for reckless driving, there is a 100% chance "Panama" will be playing on the radio.
I blame GT-4
Little sisters bday was earlier in the week and I didn't know what to get her. Her only real interest is cats and they (my folks and the last two still at home) already have 4.
I got her a kitten. Didn't ask my folks first, just showed up with it. Little sis is very happy, but I may have been banned from the house.

The registration for the next CNY SCCA autocross is only at 6 people, with less than two weeks to go. I'm honestly hoping it stays that low and we cancel the event (we allow preregistration only, speeds things up). Why? Well, for starters, its at Watkins Glen International. But we're only using one of the parking lots, not the track, so despite being at WGI, the actual racing site isn't that interesting or spec. It's also a 2.5 hour drive for me, and because I'm our tech inspector, I have to be there at 8am, so that means getting up at the crack of dawn to do a 2.5 hour drive to a site that isn't any better, and is arguably worse, than our sites one hour away. I can't leave the night before, drive down and spend the night because, the night before is my friend's bachelor party. Which also means that because I have to be up and on the road so early, I can't drink or stay too late at the party. And then that evening, I have to drive to Reading, PA, which is a 4.5 hour drive from home or a 4 hour drive from Watkins Glen. Also, I'm not even going to do particularly well at this autocross, because I'm taking the Yaris, rather than the Miata because I don't trust it to make it to Watkins Glen, never mind all the way to Reading, without something falling off. If I wasn't part of the ops crew, I'd just skip this event, stay late at my friend's party, then sleep in and make the drive from Rome to Reading and only speed 4.5 hours on the road, instead of 7 hours, plus autocrossing.
Heard something on radio, sounded like Am I Evil? (Diamond Head).
It's You Keep Me Hangin' On (Long Version) by Vanilla Fudge.
have got to hear this in a non loud environment.
