I never really paid attention to C4 suspensions other than griping that the diffs were always loose, allowing half a degree of camber slop.
I realized while doing a clutch in one last week that there is no rear subframe. The diff hangs off of the perimeter frame with a moustache per normal practice, and it uses a powerplant frame (sorry Chevy, I know you used it first, but Mazda's name is better) but the lateral arms bolt to the diff, not a separate suspension frame. The trailing arms bolt to the perimeter frame and that is all.
Man that looks swappable. Good thing they handle like trash.

I'm 60 years old and bought an RC car last year mostly just to spend time with my sons who are into them. I have been sucked into this money hole with 2 cars now and looking for a 3rd

Now if only Bethesda could release a proper Fallout game again.
After Starfield, which is shaping up to be an outer space fallout in its own right, and Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 5 is due to come. So 2030ish is my guess. Starfield is already delayed into next year, Elder Scrolls is looking '25 at the absolute earliest, most likely '26 or '27.
From what I've seen, as I refuse to play, Fallout 76 has turned into a good game. Unless you want to play alone, like fallout should be played. I still expect bugs as a feature, I'm just hoping the "new"engine they've switched to isn't the same tired and buggy engine from before with a few bells and whistles.

I'm excited for Starfield, but I'm apprehensive because Todd Howard. I could never really get into the Elder Scrolls universe, and I tried.
That's my issue with Fallout 76, which is why I refunded my pre-order before it even came out, and glad I did. They also retconned a lot of stuff, but they've attempted to "explain" it and make it lore friendly. After they went to MMO-style weapon affects in FO4 (over the handloaded ammo types in New Vegas) as well as completely demolishing the Karma system, I really lost faith. I didn't even bother beating FO4 due to the fact that no matter what choices you make, the only real difference in the "ending" is whatever faction you sided with; a far cry from FO3 or NV. In those games, and even the first two games, your choices felt so much more impactful, and at the end of the game you could see the impact your choices would have had, even ones that you thought were minor.
That reminds me, time to boot up that Windows 95 PC I built to run the first two Fallout games without any compatibility issues.
Covid absolutely sucks ass... but I've really enjoyed having the whole bedroom to myself for the past two weeks.
I don't know how the hell I did it,but I've somehow with a COMPLETELY garbage tune on a couple of joke cars I built- become suddenly competitive in the online fh5 drift scene. I was usually a backmarker, and somehow, build shenanigans stumbled across some magic setup that only I know how to drive- and I keep winning. I don't get it, but it's probably the most fun I've had at a hobby in months.
I am, once again, considering keeping the drivetrain and selling the shell on the Camaro. I don't mind the looks of the car (divisive I know) but the ergonomics/sizing/everything else seems just wrong, wrapped around that sweet LS1/T56.

Maybe it's a production numbers thing (no idea how 93-97 vs 98-02 production went), but I see so many more LT1 F-bodies still on the road vs. LS1 F-bodies, and I tend to wonder if that is because they got cheap enough to tear apart for swaps at some point.
My office is in the basement. We have two bathrooms in this house - one on the second story, one on the first. My FIL is currently living with us while recovering from a knee replacement, MRSA, 2nd knee replacement, Covid, allergic reactions, DRESS syndrome, etc., because we have a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. So the bathroom has his commode-tall-toilet seat thing over the toilet.
Rather than going up and down 2 flights of stairs, I have taken to using an empty gatorade bottle and emptying it in the utility sink. I tried just using the utility sink, but there was far too much splashing. I think I will continue using the gatorade bottle even after he moves back home.

If they are under $5k they are parts cars. Unless it is a '98.

There seemed to be a short period where a bunch of them in decent shape were in the 4-6K price range, and some ratty ones came close to hitting 3K. That time is long over.
