Drink a half gallon of orange juice in one evening. You'll be well flushed out by noon the next day.
I'm lactose intolerant- if I just wanted to be 'flushed out' I'd drink a half gallon of whole milk instead of the cup of Kefir I usually drink in the morning...

The seats from the Focus part-out project have been clogging up the shop for the last year. I was going to throw them in the trash last week but the dumpster was full. Just sold the driver's seat that I was ready to toss in the bin for $25!
It's not what the car is for, but I've got the opportunity, so I'm planning to take it-- my intention is to do an HPDE weekend at Road America with the i8 in October.
I was looking into brake pad options-- I've never had serious fade issues when I ran the Z4 at Road America, but I'd definitely got pedal pulsing after smearing hot pads around rotors before I started using DTC-60s. Not much listed out there in the way of options for the i8.
Called Porterfield this morning. They had R4 pads on the shelf for the fronts, can make up a set for the rear. Cost is just under what I paid for four corners worth of DTC-60s for the Z4.
That's a win.
I successfully repaired a circuit board today!
It was an NLA instrument cluster, used one was five days out. Pulled it apart to poke around. After a while and some manipulation, found a bunch of cracked solder joints. Repaired them with a butane pencil-tip soldering iron. Now everything works!
This marks the first time I attempted soldering on a board that did not result in a blackened mess.

I bought a 2001 Grand Am GT in November for $500, Drove it 6k miles, spending $250 on repairs. Found a 2002 with less (almost no) rust for $300, new hubs rotors and brake pads for $103, sold the 2001 today for $1195! All told I have about $600 in the 2002 and it runs great and looks good.
My neighbor made cabbage rolls today and gave me a large container full of them. Free dinner!

Keep practicing. We do quite a few module repairs here. Power supply relays seem to be the most common failure, and most of the time you can buy the relays for a buck or two each from Mouser.
If it's an important one, I have a friend who is an electronic control guy, and he solders better than I do... Actually, he de-solders better than I do, if I were to tell the truth.
Not my win- Reconkid#1 is an amazing artist, and he's beginning to fill out the negative space around his subjects...

Eat them all!!1
I bought cabbage rolls from the meat market up the street, on Thursday. I ate only one of them, saving the other for later. On Friday I decided to eat the pierogies I bought instead of the other cabbage roll. On Sunday, when I went in to work to unbork my trailer, the fridge smelled heavily of rancid cabbage. I had to throw it out
Minor win....
My 3500 lx9 v6 is now sitting on its own mounts in my rx7 champcar.
I'm reasonably sure we felt the Hellspawn kick for the first time tonight.

He'll yes! Talk, read, and sing to that little bigger. They should be able to hear if they are kicking. Such an amazing time!
Wife gave me my birthday present early. I've wanted a bike stand every since I jacked my back up 3 years ago but never wanted to pay the price. Had to test it out.

I changed six diapers today.
Solo gondola rides FTMFW.
So in the process of compiling parts to convert the BMW wagon from AWD to RWD.
Thankfully, majority of the front end is swappable with the sedan variant. The issue is with the springs.
The springs are different enough that sedan springs won't work. I've asked the UK FB group and they confirmed.
After scouring Google, trying to pull up UK part websites (yay for AutoDoc), I came across an Eibach set specifically for this chassis as RWD. The problem was that it was only for the 523i up to the 530i. Would work for now, but I am planning the LS swap as well for future.
After some more searching on UK Eibach's site, there's another set for the 530i to the 550i, which is just perfect. Even better is when I searched Google w/ the P/N, it brought me to Amazon and for $159 shipped, I'm one step closer to getting this wagon set up how I want it.

Sweet smelling little baby or senior citizen's? It makes a difference.
Got the tracing numbers for all the parts for the Audi. So the TI exhaust, wheels, hubs and black out bits all shipped.
All the parts that are being blacked out I pulled off the car are going to powder coater today and I get to start pulling the rear bumper off tonight once I get it up on the lift.
Gets dropped off for the windshield surround wrap on the 15th as well.
Shooting for this but with the body being the very dark blue it is currently and with the windshield surround black as well.
Last part is to find the smoked turn signals and carbon caps for the mirrors but both of those things are monster money so I may just make the caps myself if I can make a mold.
Discovered that a VR6 wagon is quicker than a 2.5 swapped NC from a dig and from a roll. Not bad for a fat automatic family car.
I don't have to drive through Houston and the rest of Texas tomorrow in a U-Haul truck like Colin Wood.

Going to go look at a Toyota Yaris 5-speed hatchback that looks like brand-new this weekend. Very excited.
