What in the hell did i just watch? It was awesome, but i have no idea what it was.
I guess I would call it a rolling active front suspension test rig?

I was called in to the office today to potentially be persuaded to stay. I told the boss without being mean, that his evasive tactics, passive aggressive behavior, and unjust disciplinary practices were a major part of why I was leaving. I did not succumb to further passive aggressiveness, and let him wriggle off the hook when things started to get heated. The high road sucks sometimes, but is always the best road in the end.
Sometimes being a bit forgetful can be beneficial- like the fact that it tends to slip my mind that with our 9/80 schedule on the Fridays that I have to work, I only have to work 8 hours instead of 9 so get to go home an hour earlier than usual. It's nice because it tends to come as a pleasant surprise around 3pm when I realize I only have another hour left to work before the weekend...
It's not raining or snowing at the moment. I hear the sun is shining also.
I may get to see it in person in about an hour.
The monster is running and driving. It isn’t entirely right just yet but it keeps getting better and better.
Passed the test I've been stressing, up late studying for and got my certificate without having to pay $50 (or more) for retests. Last answer selected with 20 seconds left on the clock, that was a hard "Submit/Are you sure?" mouse click to make. Been a long time, reminded me of the SATs. So relieved.
I'm driving my 67 Camaro to the muffler shop tomorrow. I think it's drivable. Now we get to find out what I've done wrong in bringing it back from the junkyard, and whether I got all the wires for the LQ4 and 4l80 in the right place.
Uric acid levels are steadily trending downward. As long as kidney function tests come back normal were finally making forward progress to getting me back on my feet!
I did brakes on my sister's well-maintained Elantra today. Easiest brake job I've ever done and she paid me with home made butterscotch chip cookies.
Side hustle gig this evening after work. 3.5 hours and made $225 (underbid a bit but I may get another job out of it).
Part way through grinding out a hollow bit of root I spot a tiny snake. I shut down the machine and pull the little fellow out of his hidey spot. Garter snake maybe a foot long with just the tiniest bit of blood on his head, I was a fraction of an inch from turning the poor guy into hamburger Set him down in some tall grass on the other side of the yard and he just lays there. Crap. But a while later when I go look he’s gone. Hope little dude makes it, I choose to believe he will.
Home now with a beer and ibuprofen, everything is sore I definitely don’t need to go to a gym if I can get a few more of these jobs!

I actually used pork cubes instead of chicken because it's what I had on hand, and this may be the main course at little tykes bday party.
I spent a lot of money and a lot more time on a gamble, and after driving it around a bit, I think it's going to pay off very handsomely.
Got to go for a ride in this today (no guns though). Thanks to the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation. Highly recommend if you get the chance. Also a big plug for Denton Farmpark. This place is a cool way to kill some time.
On the board of our local Habitat for Humanity. We had our biggest fundraiser last night and it looks like we made something north of $14K. Finished our 5th house a couple of months ago and the partner family have moved in, so this will give us a good start on our 6th. Having the lot donated for the 6th house really speeds things up the build.
Sometimes folks in our community are so generous, it humbles me.
Instructed autocross for the PCA today. I had a student shave 37 seconds off her time from first run to last run. That's a new record for me as an instructor. She even got the tires to squeal just a tiny bit on one corner on her last run. I was so proud.

Wish I'd known about this. There's a big WWII re-enactment/show at Latta Plantation next weekend if you're interested. It's a bit far for me, Denton would be doable.
I just pulled a working Lincoln 225 welder with 30' leads out of the trash. I almost kept going, because, who throws out a welder? Circled around, and sure enough, it's legit. The guy had just dragged it out, said he has no room where he's moving to, and that it works.
Just got home with my torsen diif. from East Street. Going out to the shed to play with the Miata on a gorgeous day :) !
I got a lot done today and I get to spend time with the kid. Those two things don’t often go together.
