I didn't see this posted anywhere when doing a search so I thought I'd highlight a neat feature of ChatGPT I found the other day. I opened the site to do some research on something and I noticed a prompt. "Quiz me on xxxxx" I thought, hmmm, let me give that a try. I started with a quiz on dinosaurs with my 13 y/o son because he's 'pretty much an expert' (in his words lol). It was quite fun but yesterday I thought, why not try it with something I want to REALLY learn more about so I asked it to quiz me on sportscar driving. The actual prompt was "Quiz me on driving a racecar, one question at a time' and it was a lot of fun. At the end of the ten questions I used another prompt, "make them harder, one question at a time" and they were definitely harder. Currently I'm on round 5 and there have been several very technical questions that I did not have an answer for. ChatGPT is amazing at understanding prompts and providing detailed and technical answers to questions I didn't know or only got partially right.
Here's some questions I've had trouble with:
What is the significance of "bump steer" in a race car's suspension geometry, and how can it be corrected? (Partially correct)
Explain the concept of "tire graining" and it's impact on race car performance during a race. How can it be minimized? (Partially correct)
What is "suspension kinematics" and how does it influence the behavior of a race car during dynamic driving conditions? (Mostly correct)
Give it a try and let me know how you do!
