Ok I give you two are in the 'VOLT'???
We may have passed the whole text and drive scare thing, but I remembered a buddy of mine showing me dash cam footage from the wreck that totaled his friend's bus. Driver of a Civic was cruising along at about 60mph on a long straight that went into a slight curve. When the curve came up the driver didn't turn at all until the very last second. At that point it was too late and he hit the front of a moving 50s GM bus at speed. Bus was totaled but nobody on board was injured. Driver of the Civic was DOA. Everyone's best guess is that they were looking at their phone.

You can change this behavior......please do. If not for yourself for the others you are putting in jeopardy. Seriously.
I know, man I know. I’ve really got a full on addiction to the phone, pretty much all the time. It makes me crazy but it’s hard to leave alone. It’s something I want to change.
One of the biggest problems on the road is Spotify I have this terrible music add and I’m always being reminded od another song when I hear one song and end up switching to a different track. It needs to stop
Best thing that set me straight was flight school. Having a pilot'slicense at 20 was awesome. But I took it seriously. More so than any thing else this side of motorcycles. You absolutely cannot screw around. Fun, yes. But the air is terribly unforgiving. Every life in that aircraft was relying on you. I never forgot that.
A local farmer (38yo, father of four small kids) is dead now, because a woman ran into the back of the sprayer he was pulling at approximately 70 mph. She never hit her brakes. She was shopping on her phone. Shopping on your phone apparently makes it difficult to see the giant yellow tank in front of you in the middle of a sunny afternoon.

I like being able to shut my eyes for a second during an 18 hour day on the road. I highly recommend this whole license thing. Four stars.
This is so true. Kazoo Jr. covered a couple hundred miles of northern Michigan last week. Although I can't completely shut down in the passenger's seat, he's a good enough driver that I can kind of zone out. It was pretty funny, when, after a few hours in the "captain's chair" he said, "You know, it kind of sucks being the only one in the car that has to pay attention to the road." Welcome to the dad life, kid.
