So, Chandler and stampie are coming to my house the 4th of September to do some car trading, and bring me wheels. Because i always want more wheels.
Anyway, we figured we could host the semi-regular get together at our house again!

Damn, having lived in NJ for so many years I still struggle to realize what its like to live in a state with so much area. 3 hour drive to get out there and ideally I'd want to bring one of the Kei's which would make it a much longer trip. Still tempted, I'll have to see how my schedule plays out in the next week or so.

It's 9+ hours for me. I'd try to find a way but the reality is highly unlikely.

No doubt they are a good group of guys, I've had many interactions with them through the years and now that I live closer the idea is tempting. But I'm also remiss in going to visit my dad who is 3 hours away and needs my help around the house so I probably owe him the trip if I can find the time.

I always have to look up Albemarle, since I've been to a lot of little towns along the Albemarle Sound. I'm always thinking its way over there. When My Uncle had a place on the next Sound south of there (Swanquarter NC) I could get there faster from VA, than he could from Greensboro! E - W roads have improved some (well, a lot) since then, but with the influx of come-latelys, the traffic may still ties E - W traffic up!

I remember when 3 hr trips were done just off the spur of the moment! But I was younger, and a confirmed bachelor back then. Neither is true now! Although my wife likes to travel as much as I do, I have more family to have obligations to!
about 8 hrs for me, which I feel would be well worth it, but our tired old bodies are not sure.
We might be down that way that weekend... will depend on if our boat shipment magically shows up. And, I still owe Stampie a bubble wrapped gift.
