For the past several years, my three constant paper magazine subscriptions were Hot Rod, GRM and whatever off-road / truck magazine was available from Petersens / TEN / MotorTrend. Over the years, I have had subscriptions to 4Wheel & Off-Road, Off-Road, Dirt Sports, 4Wheel Drive and SUV (best trip articles out of all of them) and most recently, Four Wheeler. Four Wheeler was the only one to survive the 2019 / 2020 magazine purge (MT dropped from 22 titles down to 3 - Hot Rod, MT and Four Wheeler). Well, they killed off Four Wheeler at the end of 2023.
Do any of y'all have any suggestions for a replacement? I really want to stick with print and would prefer a focus on pre-runners and desert racing, but open to others. I have tried Overland Journal, but it was too light on tech articles for me.
