Totally funny. That's Weird Al's Al tv show. Harvey, the wonder hamster comes away unscathed.

I'd like to know more about this as well. Given that the obstacle did not appear to move so much as an inch, I'd guess the speed at impact was probably a lot slower than you'd think.
In reply to 1988RedT2:
Its moving.....zx3's are pretty rugged cars in the passenger compartment area.....in all my years, I've never seen one peel the roof back on impact. My sister smacked a bridge side at 70 with one and the only damage in the passenger compartment were the rockers folded outward separating from the floor, doors bowed outwards in the middle, and the console folded upward

According to this, the crash was 120mph:

And it's amazing what a purpose built crash barrier can put up with. Cars are very, very light and insubstantial compared to a few dozen tons of reinforced concrete and steel.
Other than the fact that that guy has a promising career as the "before" model in As Seen On TV product ads, I don't get it.

Considering the name of the image is http://gifs.gifbin.com/102011/1319215935_ford_focus_crash_test_at_120mph.gif I'd have to say you are correct!
There is actually a collection out there somewhere of a bunch of these (wildly over acted) "problem to be solved" infomercial situations.
(I think the quote is in reference to the tendency for some people to blame almost everything on that particular person)
Found some:
BTW - I am loving that new one for the ear cleaning device. The scream of pain the guy lets out when he pokes himself with the Q-tip is the stuff of legends.
