Has anyone else had issues with PayPal? Short of going back to the old fashioned ways, are there any other RELIABLE alternatives? Their 90 steps to gain full access to my account, after an inevitable security issue, is getting tiresome.

google checkout is an alternative, and i haven't yet heard any horror stories about them, like how paypal can seize all the money in your account for various reasons
Thanks for the suggestion. Right now PayPal is holding about $500 of my money. Awesome and neat at the same time.

Paypal has done many unfair things.
They went after a friend of mine after he left them and closed his bank account that was attached to his paypal account. somehow they managed to still get money from the bank and the bank charged him for it.
Can you use Google Checkout in a similar manner to PayPal?

Hmm, I wonder why... Ebay owns paypal.
I need to start selling some household junk. We're going to be moving every 8 months for 2 years, possibly internationally. We need to downsize from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment.
So.. What are you r best hints to sell on ebay(or other auction site). I assume I'll have to use Paypal because thats what everyone has acesss to....
