Even without Farley, Belushi, etc....they can still do it. I'm not taking a side on this one, just sharing one of the funniest things I've seen them do in awhile.

That is funny. Didn't SNL just do a skit about liking Taylor Swift or something? That was hilarious.
EDIT: found it
i thought that cold open last night was pure genius...
looks like they have officially gotten off the Obama Express, and i'd bet that they will be joining up with the Hillary bandwagon pretty soon... i guarantee they won't do anything this critical of her until she loses the election...

Alright. How ordered the flounder?
...oh wait... that would be no one.
The "Back-home baller" video was pretty great, too.
People have been saying "The show stopped being funny after year XXXX" since 1980. It's simply not true. The show has always had ups and downs, often within a season. Last week's episode with woody Harrelson was a snooze-fest, but this week's was pretty good.

SNL has always been about 90% bad, 7% good, 2% great, and 1% awesome. just try sitting thru a complete episode of the first few seasons.. i dare you..

Yea, this ranks up there in the better skits.......joining the ranks with the Celebrity Jeopardy skits.

I agree with Tom, and the first few seasons were ground breaking for the times. I would have no problem sitting through a marathon of the first shows.
I found it very funny and shared it on FB. Where it seems to be getting a lot of circulation at the moment.
SNL hasn't been on my must watch radar for some time, it's nice when they surprise me with something buzzworthy.
For an even better laugh...
Remember when the Washington Post 'fact checked' Tina Fey..
Me either..
How about this?

No; it shows that some media apologists have no standards.
They re-ran the episode from 1976 where George Harrison shows up to accept the $3000 offer for the Beatles to do the show. Paul Simon hosted and did the turkey suit gig. He and Harrison sang a couple of duos. Jane Curtin did the news solo with no political bias. It was great.
I've always wanted to punch Seth Meyers in the face.
I laughed pretty hard at that one too.
The Lincoln Commercials they did recently were really funny too.

just another in a long history of SNL lines getting confused with things the actual people said..
Strategery is the first one that comes to mind..
..but Chevy Chase's portrayal of Gerald Ford way back in the early years has also been ingrained into the minds of the public..
notice a trend in which "side" gets the most negative portrayals?
