Candian Grand Prix, F1. on Fox at 2:00 PM EDT. Nascar at Pocono on TNT at 1:00 PM EDT. Decisions, decisions.

Watched the Indycar race last night. Lots of mechanical problems. "Blocking ?" come on, that was just hard racing. Honda add a little more to the kitty ?

Power turned left sharply, after TK had made his move, it was pretty clear blocking to me. As a driver who is one of the most vocal about safety on big ovals....

Love F1 in Montreal. Rooting for Hamilton to get his first win of the season.

Hamilton won but who were the guys that finished 2 & 3 ?

I guess I go to too many dirt tracks . I wonder what Kannan said to Power after the race..

Grosjean and Perez? You don't know who they are?

I am relatively upset about Ferrari's terrible strategy.

Yeah it seemed like, the second Hamilton came out of the pits, Ferrari could count the splits and the laps remaining to realize that they weren't going to be able to keep Hamilton from catching them. It would have fun to see a straight fight with Hamilton, Alonso, and Vettel on the same strategy.

Damn. There goes some of the excitement for me since I haven't watched it yet. (F1). Some of us Tivo the damn things and watch them later. I didn't expect this thread would be a spoiler by the 3rd post or I would've not clicked on it.

Great weekend of open wheel racing.

What was really great about Texas was that they forced the drivers to DRIVE instead of putting so much downforce in that they were running flat out. Even with the limited downforce, there were 2-2.5 lines so that passing really wasn't a big issue. And the drivers ALL loved it. That was really cool. And that's the kind of racing I want to see on ovals.

Even the cars had different enough set ups that cars would be good at the start of a stint, go away, or just the opposite. Had Power not blocked, I still think that Wilson would have had a very strong car at the end, and could have won.

Much like the F1 race- where Vettel drove away, but Hamilton closed on him, to pass via the pits, then Alonso shockingly does the same thing, only to have Lewis pass him on the track. Then to see Vettel and Alonso try to nurse their cars to win... wow. Had RB and Ferrari brought their guys in on the very next lap, it would have been close. But once Hamilton got one quick lap in, he would have passed them in the pits anyway. It was far, far more interesting that he had to pass them on the track.

Meh, the other two guys on the podium went with a one-stop. So I'm not sure the strategy was so terrible. Kind of like Kimi back in China.

I'm not really an F1 fan, so unfamiliar names will pop up.
