And if anyone is interested in racing theirs, I borrowed one of these for our SCCA meeting last night. Very well attended compared to typical meetings, 21 cars were entered!
And glad I borrowed it, online these things are crazy expensive.

Haven't posted in awhile, the big Abarth in the back is 1/18th and just picked up at Trader's World Flea Market last weekend (the one in front is smaller but perspective...)
And I liked this Porsche Hot Wheel, so for $2 he came home with me.

Dammit, I just saw a few of those and not at Walmart. Where the hell did I see them? Hm, might have been the flea market last weekend.
Finally a weekend with no responsibilities, so off to my favorite vintage toy stores. The one in Bellbrook didn't disappoint either, they just got a big lot in recently. I could have gone crazy but settled for a few newer Lambo's and these guys.
I've never seen a Pantera as a toy car, the General is kinda vintage (forget the year, they had another even older that he showed me the back window was more of a notchback), the Knightrider was a "key car" that just looked cool, and the XR4Ti was kinda old and seemed to be a little larger than most. I just thought it was cool. Had $ to spend so $40 for all 7 seemed reasonable.
I liquidated my hotwheels collection, or gave it to my kid. Several hundred gone. However, i bought this. Dekotora AND kaido racer? Best use of the mad manga stamping ever. Thr purple base is on point.

Getting a late start?

I was just about to post mine up. My buddy that gave it to me has the deluxe, with painted interior and a few other doodads
Grabbed these this afternoon. I don't check for them very often but was excited to see some cool ones today. the BMW series can't just be at Walmart, as I bought them at Kroger.
The BMW set has special card art as shown above, only at Walmart. The BMW subset in the mainline like the CSL (sweet casting) and the 2002 is everywhere.

Might have to find that Escort. I have a couple already but I like that livery.
Very happy that my Car Culture A case just shipped. They were originally only distributed to Puerto Rico and Asia; due to PR financial situation those cases were routed to English speaking Canada. The US got very few cases so I'm stoked!
These Japan Historics will be the best subset this year, next mix is Euro which is followed by Trucks so they are looking great!
In reply to chandlerGTi:
I just read something about the Euro set, it has a very sweet Fiat I need to find. Are these sets/cars hard to get?
Mix A was impossible, never hit retail in the US! Some are trickling out now two months later; the B mix is presold from all the hobby dealers but Walmart/Meijer/Kriger all have huge orders in so the Euro (B mix) should be available.
Picked up one of these over the weekend.
Been trying to cut back on buying diecast stuff but when cars like this are being made, it's hard not to!
