I don't think you can remove a thread unless you are a mod. We did have a case of a thread disappearing recently, that was eventually recovered, so there does appear to be a ghost in the machine somewhere....
I just couldn't watch that train wreck again. Although I did consider replying and asking him questions about his build. Then AC would have done a post about me not being able to help it. There AC, for berking once I held back! And I regret it.

All you missed is a thread from someone a bubble off center who makes threads, gets upset about...something, and deletes his thread. Its happened several times before and its weird each time.
Darn, I thought it was general disdain for a hot version of a transit connect which I very much support. At least I know that there isn't general disdain for a hot version of a transit connect (that I know of).
I think we would all very much like to see a hot Transit Connect. But LostInTransit (and their friend, LostNTransit) have done this across the internets a few times. It's a distinctive enough username to follow the wreckage.
The user LostInTransit / LostNTransit is one of the elite few to be banned from GRM more than once. Mods have a Ban On Site standing order for those few. So his thread was nuked as soon as I nuked him. As Keith said, a cursory look around the internet will show you the tip of the iceberg. The emails the GRM staff had to go through were a dumpster fire.

Agreed - if not physically, then possibly mentally. I'm pretty sure that little or no of the work has ever actually been done, it's a fantasy. But a very brittle one.

To be fair I seem to remember there was mention by the OP of some kind of traumatic accident? The reactions to helpful comments or even compliments in the threads were not normal so maybe related if that was the case? The last time he posted I remember the “explosion” occurred when someone correctly pointed out that the aluminum spare tire rim he was dead set on using was a safety hazard.
I honestly wanted to see the van but his "comments not welcome on my post" drivel was painful.
