This looks really cool!
Update:
I went to Claremont, Florida to pick up the new one. Arrived at noon on Friday, got permission to pull the trailer out (plane was in a hangar) by 4:00 I pulled the wheels, bought new tires, repacked the wheel bearings and by 8:00 pm had a sub, a six pack and running lights!
Did the deal at noon on Saturday and was on the road by 2:00.
Trailer was nasty, covered in black mold and unloved for years. Mud Bees seem to like the heat of fiberglass.
Uneventful trip except that when caught in a thunderstorm in Virginia, all the mold stood up!! It wet from mold to 1/4 or so inch tall.
Got home and pressure washed it, the washer slid forward and put a big smiley face on the front of my big toe. Nail flipped up, but I was going to Cape Cod for a week with the family so I had to tough it out.
Returning from the Cape, a podiatrist skillfully removed my big toe nail. Six needles to the toe and all is well?
The trailer cleaned up well.
Love the tinted canopy, UV protection and cooler. The shirt I wear is an SPF 100 long sleeve.
Great visibility! This is a cloudstreet, stay under it and shuffle along all the way to the horizon.
Today was my first flight in the new girl, a 42 : 1 ship that is a bit heavier so you don't feel like a leaf in a thunderstorm. I was a tad concerned being 15 miles out at 2,000 feet; something I have to learn. Yes I could have made it easily.
Cape Cod was nice, dig our own clams, lobster mac & cheese, very diverse beers, what's not to like?
