blame it on the spam... and the fact that I've got some time to knock it out while it's being posted... usually... which is also several hours ahead of the rest of y'all for the next couple of years.

so that's where I'll probably focus my attention for the time being

additionally... yes, I did this because I had no idea when Tom was going to flip the switch, and I kinda wanted to get to 2000 posts first.  Also, by doing this in my own thread, I could use it to play around with some of my Mod powers in a thread that wouldn't mess with other peoples'.

For others, yeah, this actually happened.  We were at Bob's house and heading out the door for the week long One Lap of America.  Before leaving we needed some "shuffling of cars".  My Prius was parked right behind Bob's ole truck.  I don't remember the exact sequence of events but the trucks "not yet rebuilt" engine belched out a huge dose of exhaust at start up.  As the truck belched, the Prius parked at about the truck's exhaust height threw a CEL.  We figured the Prius must have wondered where all the "noxious" was coming from.

I was trying to creatively work that in with poet and moderator. I couldn't figure out a way in the five seconds of attention I gave it. Glad you rescued me.

Sorry, that was me being subtle again.  I was trying to imply that the check mark would be placed in the box marked "insane".  Hence my wording: "pass an insanity check", versus "pass a sanity check."
