Through a good friend, I am acquaintances with the founder of Lewbowski Fest. At the 2nd annual Fest, I had the great pleasure of meeting the actual Dude, Jeff Dowd. It was truly a moment I will remember the rest of my life. Jeff Bridges truly became the Dude and embodied his very ethos for the film. I've been a fan before Lebowski and will continue to be. Wish him the best.
He's not a hero, per se, but just the man for his time.
If darkness warshes over the Dude, I will lose my mind.
