TIL that there is a tire company (presumably Chinese) that makes a tire that fits the E46 that is called the MuchoMacho....
Despite the fact they're likely crap (as they're REALLY cheap...) it's really tempting to get a set just for the laughs of having them on the car. Plus- they're stupidly cheap.
If I'm not going crazy, there was a Challenge car last year (Audi? BMW? that had a set of these with the Much Macho lettering painted in white

TIL that apparently my wife made hard boiled eggs. Which explains why there were two half-full containers of eggs in the fridge.
Apparently it was not helpful to consolidate the two.
My wife pencils HB on the top of any she hard boils. Has saved us all a few times.

Spin them. A hard boiled egg will spin very well as they are a solid. The raw egg will quickly slow down and wobble about as it's a two density liquid.

Also, if you spin a raw egg, stop it with you finger then quickly let go, it will keep spinning for a few rotations.

Old oil filters were also, even on cars the old canister style ones. I have a customer with and 87 Peterbilt 359 with a V8 cat and it has two or those, my guys HATE changing them cause there's no good way to do it.

I just held them up to the light. A raw egg is translucent while a hard boiled one is completely opaque.
After I sorted them out, I broke out the kitchen sharpie and put a little H on each hard boiled one.

"Back in the day" this used to be the guaranteed first answer to any "What wheels should I get for my Miata?" thread.
You would get a lot of gay attention, not that that's a bad thing.
(TIR) Today I realized I want and need an old Army jeep and a Triumph Spitfire.

Might get heterosexual attention from women into a wheel of dicks.

TIL that there is a tarantula migration in Colorado that occurs yearly. No. berkeleying. Thank you.
Today I learned that bamboo stumps don't rot.
berkeleyers.
In reply to NickD :
We get them around here all the time. Friendly things usually. Pick them right up. Friendlier than the snakes, anyway. Scorpions are the real shiny happy people.

Get two jeeps and lower one, you'll have 90% of the Spitfire experience with fewer of the negatives.
In reply to barefootskater :
IMHO they're certainly less scary than tarantula hawks. Although those are pretty chill if you don't look like a tarantula.

I despise scorpions, even though I've never seen one that wasn't in a glass cage. They're vile things.
Snakes, spiders, etc, no problem most of the time. But scorpions need to die.

Lots of nasty creepy crawlers out here. Almost everything will run away hard and fast. Except scorpions. They seem to always go straight into attack mode. Luckily most of the local ones are quite small.

Not that it's a point of contention in my house or anything....

I remember reading somewhere that no one in the band knew English and they learned to sing that song phonetically. Not sure if true.
