Today my "life" glass is half full

Ever since I was in the hospital last year I have made a point of focusing on all the pluses in my life. I'm on the green side of the sod, cancer is in remission, I went and tried to skate this morning. Life is good. Then on the way home, the sun blinded a semi driver and he didn't see me as he turned left. He sideswiped the MINI. I'm lucky I wasn't a few car lengths later, or I would have hit the tractor head-on. The guy was really upset and I had to assure him multiple times that I was OK. Unfortunately, I think the car will be a write off, door and quarter panel damaged and the suspension and wheel are bent. I bought it in 2007 and I have to admit I have become attached to the little green car over the last 16 years. Now I'll have to figure out what to do to replace it. BUT, my glass is at least half full because I got back on the ice and didn't fall down once!! Life is good. I hope you folks all have a great day!
