Confirmed.
Had some reaaaal good racing tonight. Couple cars ended up on their lids, including me! Tsukuba is a TON of fun with a group of cars!

I can think of some mean paint schemes for that. I'll focus on some game play tomorrow. The wife isn't home until late and the exhaust is done on the Lightning Chicken.
At least I got to get my feet wet tonight. Got my account and jumped had a go. I tried not to get in the way too bad when you lapped me. Just held my line and let you pass. I really didn't seem to do too bad in the turns at times because I actually gained on some of you when you were close enough for me to see you. Everyone rocketed away in the straights though and I know it wasn't the car because Duke was in a Ford @ Tsukuba. No clue what equal cars are that much faster in the straights. I do use a controller and have a nerve condition in my hands that causes my fingers to go numb usually before a race ends but I just have to put up with it. I guess I'll see what the buzz is online to try to figure out how to go faster. Any help would be appreciated.
Do any of you use a Fanatec wheel? Any with the load cell brake? If so do you like it? Is it worth it, etc.? If not, what wheel do you recommend? I read what was said about using the clutch and I know there's no way I could do that with the controller. I should be able to learn how with a wheel though.
I quit before the last race was over because I crashed on the "straight" leading into the left hand sweeper the last two laps. Get the line precisely right and I could stay on the throttle all the way through it. Get it slightly wrong and .
I hoped to get the hard drive and headset hooked up today but just didn't have time. I should be able to tomorrow. You guys are .
Thanks for your patience tonight. See you again asap.
Duke, if one or more of your regular members doesn't make a race because the room is full, I'll volunteer to sit out. After all, I'm the new guy and the least experienced. I would like to continue to run on practice nights if nothing else and as I said try to figure out what it takes to run good lap times. Anyway, under the circumstances I won't mind giving up my spot to one of the guys who's been racing with this group for a while.
Yeah man, thanks for joining in! We should be on tomorrow. Don't worry about having the clutch, its not necessary to have fun. It does make a difference in the straights. Alot of the guys that were on tonight have put several laps in these cars, you'll get faster.
I don't think anyone is using a wheel. I could be wrong though.
Expect me tomorrow after I tune some cars up. Unless like today I down a Monster and promptly fall asleep for two hours.
Some recent action shots:
Gonna look good with another 8 guys
Brotus7 going over
Me, pulling a "Brotus"...
You guys need to work on keeping all four on the ground. And if my last two post didn't clarify, I'll try to hop on tomorrow.
We could always go all old school formula one and have a pre-qually. Or maybe be like the Indy 500 and have a sorta bump day... Have numbers 16+ qualify for the last spot.
that was a lot of fun tonight! im need to get tuning on the rest of my cars...the new car pack has a beetle and a mgAtc...awsome!

That was fun at Tsukuba, some people just don't know how to race like that. Was a berkeleying blast!

this was at about 90mph, straight into the wall. Bounced about 15-20 feet in the air. Was a good one!
