Philly man charged with shooting movie patron over noise in theater by The Associated Press Friday December 26, 2008, 2:18 PM PHILADELPHIA -- A man enraged about a noisy family near him in a movie theater Christmas night is charged with shooting the father in the arm. Philadelphia police say 29-year-old James Joseph Cialella shot the victim after a brief altercation at a South Philadelphia movie theater. Police say the armed suspect was still in the theater complex when they arrived. Police Lt. Frank Vanore says the victim is a 31-year-old man from nearby Yeadon. A manager for the Riverview Stadium is referring calls to United Artists. The company's spokesman did not immediately return a phone message today. The suspect remains in custody without a lawyer. A call to his home number today was unanswered.
