........... as you can tell my Avatar is all messed up. I got tired of the generic one (no matter how hard I tried to convince the masses that is was MY avatar and decided to upload a real one,

As you can tell, it failed. I am not sure what is wrong. It is 90 pixels wide and 60 high and a jpg.. by all rights is should load right up.

And I just thought you came up with a truly original avatar. Now we all know it's just broke.

If it is supposed to look like a box with a box inside with an "X" inside the second box then you nailed it ;)

Weird. Maybe it's caching the images. Or maybe something on windows is cranky about they filename?

I'm seeing 4 red sorta wheel-looking things.

I'm not seeing anything graphically - in fact, what I'm seeing is "mad_machine" in red where his avatar should be, overlapping his username and the grey bar. I don't see anything but an empty image box in the samples from Tim's posts.

Weirder and weirder. In Firefox, I'm seeing it fine. In Safari, I'm seeing a negative.

Mad_machine, send me your original image.

My work monitor is built into the service counter. It has a lightly tinted glass plate over it which does a great job of lightly muting the letters.

EVERY time I see someone type Safari I see Satan.
