La Isla Bonit by Madonna. I like this song a lot.
Someone on Fark of all places- in the middle of a politics thread- posted this. I'm about 1/4 of the way through and am quite certain that I need to download it to my phone to be able to put on when I want to get someplace a ways away in a hurry...

You got some weird characters in that link, fixed it:
Saw him live in CT last month. Bought the black T-shirt, bought the light blue fleece hoodie (great practical piece of clothing ... wore it during the cold concert), also bought the light blue guitar key chain. (Acutally, my son bought all. Thanks Jay). Loved the performance. Mark played this song, one of my favorites. It's amazing to see the lyrics folded over the music in the video (or vice versa, whatever). I could never integrate lyrics and music like that. It takes a special talent. I'm still looking for my 10mm open end wrench while I'm listening to this great music.
Ask me? Brilliant integration of lyrics and music.
I can completely understand integration of software and mechanical motion (robotics) ... but lyrics and music? ... it's a total mystery to me. But I love it!
Metal Billy Jean?

I really do like Warren Zevon. Always did. He was a ... well, a special kind of performer. But I liked him. And I like him in this performance.
This is one instance where the band looks more sane than the lead.
WZ was a fun guy to watch and listen to.
Static-X - Wisconsin Death Trip
I haven't listened to this album in probably 18 years. Man, I miss the mid to late 90s
Same with Coal Chamber (their self titled album from 1997).
Such a different time then. Berk.
Just discovered Hath, from NJ. Strong contender for album of the year for me. Slightly progressive blackened death metal. Excellent stuff.

If you're talking about Hugo Kant, yeah. He has a bunch of other albums on YT.
Also look into Chriss Joss:
It's impossible to overstate how groundbreaking and influential this stupid song was. 32 years later it still sounds current. And the video is awesome too.

I love stuff like that. Drives my Wife crazy. She always asks, is anything going to happen in this song or what?
Worked a 12hr night shift by myself last night so I was able to put this on in the shop. I don't normally like vocals in music but every time I listen to this it surprises me how good it is. Great vocals, classic Fripp guitar.

Dude. You like all this stuff and old George Thorogood? We really must be long-lost musical brothers.
