I think so.
Nobody likes the music I listen to!
Brand X is touring right now. No Phil Collins, but Percy Jones and John Goodsall are there and sound as good as ever

I'm not a big fan of Rod Stewart, but this song made an impression on me when it first came out, right around this time of year in '71, (48 effen years ago). I was in U.S. Army Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC. At the time I was dirt poor and seriously concerned about my future. Echo Company, 7th Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade was my home. E-7-2. My neighbors ... the "home-boys" in all the Companies spent their initial gov't pay on boom boxes. So up and down the Company street (WWII barracks, I should add), this song was playing frequently in the evenings in Sept. 1971. It was fresh new music at the time, and I liked it. It was one of the more pleasant experiences from that era. When I hear it today, I think of that time. Around the time I got out of Basic and AIT (I was Army Reserves, so I went back to civvie life in Feb. '72), my career became a fantastic ride. I had time to think, I was focused, and I knew where I was going. Tonight, I'm sitting by the fire pit with a roaring fire, retired, appreciating a pretty good career behind me, and drinking a great Cotes du Rhone. So after a great career, I'm a long effing way from Ft. Jackson, SC. I'm reflecting ... as old geezers always do ... and because it's "late September," I thought of this song. It's appropriate.
Infected Mushroom. Their newer albums are packed with solid, hard driving beats that make them absolutely perfect when you have to drive a lot like I did yesterday running around trying to get everything for the cabin's plumbing inspection together.
ok this isn't music but I'm kinda over music at the moment.
It's definitely NSFW and not safe for here either.
Sound quality is a bit off - there are better videos of Will Franken at the same venue sound wise.
He's making me laugh and that's good enough for me.
I'll add one more as it's a little more up to date then I'll get back to regularly scheduled programming.
Plus the audio is better. Little more safe for work too.
I like this one. It's the first time watching him on video too. There is cursing.
Been on an Eminem freestyle kick today. Lots of repeats across a few long "videos," but the guy is pretty unbelievable.
Handel's Messiah. We're performing excerpts next month. The entire piece is about two hours, twenty minutes.
My family sings with Chorale Union at Stetson University. About 160 voices, plus full orchestra.
Geez. We all do age. I'm glad to see these guys are still together. Pete Townsend's hair may have disappeared but I do love his aged guttural voice. And Roger Daltry, he looks like Jay Leno with a perm, which is not a good look. But I assume he had a perm thirty-five years ago, which wasn't a good look then either. (Neither did it look good on some of my acquaintances back then). However, the music is still really good, and I still love Pete's guitar work. People from my generation gotta love The Who.
The Who - Eminence Front, 1982
Same song, admittedly a bit better back then. Pete looks a lot younger. He was so much more down to earth. Roger looked like a dork with his broccoli-head perm. I never really did hear his guitar throughout any of the music. It was all Pete's talent and the band's terrific percussion.
Eminence Front - Original Version
And Pete Townsend still led this with his phenomenal guitar and vocals. Pete Townsend was The Who. Roger what's-his-name was a side show.
