DW has the original vinyl of the New Traditionalists LP, which came with a 45 single of Working In A Coal Mine. There is no B side and what would have been grooves is etched in a checkerboard pattern. I used to play that single so much.
On the subject of Springsteen's original Blinded By The Light: the very best that can be said about it is that it is at least 400% less annoying than the horrible Manfred Mann cover.

I put Springsteen squarely in the song writer category. There are no bad Springsteen covers because as far as I'm concerned he doesn't make music, and that MM version is still one of my favourite (radio music) guitar solos ever.
And I still have my original vinyl copy of the first Devo album in picture disc!

The Cleverlys. Think of Hayseed Dixie, but instead of metal they cover mostly pop. Also, the interviews contain some great jokes about alpacas.
Purely a German band but as you can see from the video, extremely popular there in the eighties. A few years ago I was in Cologne, center city. They were setting up for a concert by BAP in the city square in front of the famous cathedral that evening. Unfortunately, the river boat we were on was leaving at 6:00 pm, so we missed the concert.
