And now, just for the fun of it, 4-1/2 hours of Shpongle:

The only Zeppelin album I like.
And the least liked among the hardcore Zeppelin fans
Zep fans don't like Physical Graffiti? I guess I'm not a zep fan.
This morning has been full of Metallica. Death Magnetic. Not their greatest album, but it has some real gems.

I don't know if I agree with that at all. I would have to say Presence is least liked, but even it still has its fans (though I am not one at all). I was just in discussion with one of them the other day. Presence really pretty much sucks, no matter how much people try to pretend it doesn't.
In reply to barefootskater (Shaun) :
I didn't say that. I said it was the least liked of all the Zep albums, which, when I was (much) younger was pretty much universally accepted.
I won't argue though because I'm not a fan and I don't know any of it well. Most of it sounds the same to me and I'm not sure which I find more annoying, John Bonham's drumming, or Robert Plant's voice.
I can, however, listen to this and it sure brings back a pile of memories

Got this album on vinyl for $5 in excellent condition. It is just pure happiness.
I've got that one too. There's so much good music on vinyl that is cheap just because it is common.
In through the Out Door is actually my favorite Zeppelin album. I know it's very synth heavy but it everything on it just works for me.

Ok, revisiting-
Trojan Rocksteady. Predecessor to reggae and awesome back story. Ska was the predominant musical style in Jamaica until '64, when the summer was super hot. So hot that dancing to ska was exhausting bar patrons. So bands added a back beat to ska and invented reggae. 64-66 produced some of the best music ever in the reggae style. Absolutely worth a listen.
#2/B: if it hasn't been said before, please listen to Glenn Danzig singing Elvis. Yes. A thousand times yes.
C. Orville Peck.
I love this song. Actually, I really really really like Beck. He always puts on a super entertaining live show.
Just cruising around YouTube's suggestions and ran across this. Good stuff so far.
Croatian instrumental prog / post-rock:
New Gojira, "Born for One Thing"
I struggle with a lot of metal when the vocals are just screaming. I like a bit of dynamics, things like Pantera, Lamb of God, Opeth... where there's some musicality to the screaming. That said, this is pretty good. Also been getting into Children of Bodom recently. Same issue. Maybe I should branch out more.
