This is one of my favorite songs of all time.  And it's definitely my favorite video of all time.

I'm not sure if I like it as much as the original, but it's cool to see Ministry remaking this (ugh, really?) 41 year old song.

Heard the last bit of this on the local oldies station. I had no idea who/what it was, but I took a guess, did some searching and found it.

Rendezvous point. Give them a try. Not a bad track on any album.

Oh man, that moko kauae tattoo looks really weird on Al Jourgenson. That was certainly a decision.

I have been obsessed with a artist called Aurora. I've listened to her on and off the past few years but her song "The Seed" has been my obsession as of late. But not the recorded version. The version she did during a concert in the woods and a live chorus came and surprised her.

I found a playlist of "Acid Jazz" on Spotify that I have had on rotation the past few days. This song is one of my favorites so far.

I've been digging the radio station North & Beyond from Hammerfest, Norway, lately. Radio Garden is an awesome way to listen to radio stations around the world and this one in particular has some neat programs. https://radio.garden/visit/hammerfest/GSgLs0Uh

Much of the day they play  fairly chill beats, which I love while I'm getting work done. North & Beyond introduced me to Sega Bodega:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZJEKLiW-2o

Later in the day they switch to a program called Rewind, in which they play broadcasts and top 100 from various sources and provide historical context. I caught one a couple weeks ago where they played the chart-toppers from 1968 in Norway and explained how Norway was just on the cusp of being an energy-producing power, how Norway was experiencing social transition, etc. The other day they had a 1967 Brazilian broadcast. One of the common ones they do is from the Armed Forces Vietnam Network, which is what they played yesterday: The top 100 from 1969 as broadcast on the AFVN, along with the news and commentary from the same programming from the US military in Vietnam. Those are SUPER interesting to listen to, and in particular when they play the AFVN segments I like to think that I could be listening to the exact same broadcast my father listened to when he served in Vietnam.

Anyway, Sega Bodega is cool. Radio.Garden is cool. North & Beyond radio is cool.

I was actually in a metalcore band around 2003 and iwrestledabearonce was one of our biggest influences. The singer and guitarist went on to co-found Spiritbox.

I don't listen to the genre very often anymore but the last week or so it's about the only thing I can listen to.

Back in maybe 1970 or so when I was maybe in 8 or 9th grade I was handed down the family radio which just so happened to have something new called the FM stereo radio band. Our tiny city's only FM station was only licensed for daylight broad casting and went off of the air at 10:00 pm. Back then they only had cassettes or LPs for their source music and this song that I never new who played it was my favorite. I only new some of the lyrics and after 50 years of searching I finally found it. laugh Long John Baldry.

Mrs Heretic and I are binge watching episodes of Law and Order Criminal Intent and I always liked the theme song and wondered what the full length version sounded like, so I looked it up.

"Folk Metal Forever" as suggested by Youtube Music.  A lot of bands with names that are full of letter with those little dots above them, but I'm digging it.
