Sorry. Had to do it.
Apparently, Tesla has never covered "Panama" in any YouTube-worthy way, otherwise that would have been the perfect embed.

I can't drive my car so I am just listening to me driving it in the past.
I love traditional Chicago-style blues. The seventies, eighties, and nineties were great times for the blues masters. They had paid their dues and were appreciated. Annie and I saw a lot of the blues legends at the old Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel, and the Last Call Saloon in Providence, RI, and Chan's in Woonsocket, RI, as well as other SoNE venues. Unfortunately, most of those great original blues artists are no longer with us.

For some reason, I've been on a Hot Action Cop kick this morning.

One of the three great "Louie's." The other two are Armstrong and Prima. (My opinion).
It's been said that Louie Jordan's music provided inspiration to Chuck Berry when he was getting started in the business.
A few Chuck Berry songs this morning. Marcus King Band in the car. Next in the car rotation will be Gary Clark Jr.
One of my favorite Ry Cooder songs.
He's one of the most distinguished slide guitarists ever. And I think he played (or still plays) a Martin for much of his career. Well, he's about a year older than me, so I think he's still playing it.
Currently listening to lullabies. The baby is teething and woke up screaming. After spitting a fair amount of his bottle back up and having a thermometer shoved up his butt, he's finally going back to sleep.
I watched the "Salad Days" documentary again last weekend and have been stuck on a Dischord records kick since then.
This album and this song in particular. I have even figured out how to play it which is a huge turn around for me since I have been in a very 60's rock and roll guitar playing phase for a few years
