I got a galaxy tab from my wife (I was totally surprised). My dad got me a tap and die set an a wooden salad bowl tha was turned from a tree stump. It's pretty cool. Our three year old daughter got every princess type accessory you can imagine and lots of other plastic crap.

I've wanted one of those for a while now!
lol.

I got enough money to buy the Makida 12v drill, impact, and LED light set from cornwell that I've been coveting, and either buy a cheapo tool cart or bank the remainder and save for the 53" kobalt box with 16 drawers, a fridge, and a radio (all for the price of a snap on roll cart, aka 1500 bucks)
bought the wife a Kindle and some jeans that were sorely needed.
Oh, and my brother gave me a green onion tied to a pencil by a broken rubber band.

Got a pair of kirkey pro street seats from my dad - woot. SAE and metric gear wrenches from Mrs. Oldtin along with 14k gold hoops (had a hole in my ear since 1980). Also got Mrs. Oldtin's netbook (she got an i-pad). For myself - I published my book on amazon this morning (cancer - the insider's guide).

After 15 years of dragging around the same cast iron floor jack to vintage races, I finally go one of those aluminum racing jacks (like "ST_ZX2" showed above).

Also got some new tie-down straps to replace my old, frayed ones (one of my old ones came unwound and got dragged for about 4 hours on the ride back from the PVGP so it's really frayed).

And a new 1/4 sheet vibrating sander (my old one literally vibrated itself to bits).

My parents got me and my two boys a custom hats/shirts with "Zomer (That's us, BTW) Racing" on them. My wife/boys got me a new set of magnetic numbers for the Miata, Keith's "Performance Projects" book, and a few other odds and ends. Also, I'm taking my oldest to my alma mater's (Western Michigan) bowl game tomorrow, which is sort of a Christmas present.

lol. I think most of the story is that my Brother is very strange. He grabbed the onion at dinner (it was set there as a garnish, not as an actual entree) and carried it with him the rest of the night, until it got bent in half. At that point, he tied it to the pencil with the broken rubberband, and continued to carry it. Dad's gf was giving him weird looks about it (lol) so, when it was time for us to go, he snuck over there, handed it to me, and ran off before I could protest. I froze it that night with the intent of bagging it, putting it in a box, wrapping it, and giving it to him for christmas the very next morning, but I forgot. So now I'm stuck with it forever.
