Switching from RE-71R's to Yokohama A052 on my STU prepped C4 Corvette.  The tires are 265-35 mounted on 18x9.5 in. wheels.  For the RE-71's I typically ran about 29 psi front and rear.  Looking for input on what pressures the A052's work best at, and if they are similar to the RE-71R?  Thanks in advance for input.

I have found the A052's to like a bit more pressure than i would normally run.  I'm at 34 front, 32 rear on my Mustang.  295/35 on 18x10.5's.

A052's are....odd. I've found that their personality changes pretty radically depending on the pressures you're running. Higher pressures and they feel more alert like RE71r's, lower and their more forgiving and mushier, more similar to BFG's.

It sounds like you'll want to run higher pressures if you want them to feel like RE71Rs.  Maybe start with 32-34 and adjust from there?

Thanks for the input guys.  I will try a baseline pressure of 34 front and rear and go from there.
