In this case, it would be my dad. I spoke with him tonight and he says he took possession of a "barn find". I, knowing what that can range from, inquire further. Come to find out there was this car a few hrs from his home and had been actually advertised in Hemmings for sale. He arranged to go look at it, full well knowing he doesn't have the asking price burning a hole in his pocket. He drives out and looks it. 41K original miles that has been stored in a HEATED barn for the past 35 yrs. This thing doesn't have but rust on the trunk lip. No rust in the floors, came with owners and repair manuals, two brand new hubcaps, etc... Originally, the owners wanted 5k, he walks out with the car for 2k. All this over a freaking 59 Studebaker Lark with a 6cyl/3spd, IIRC.
Berkeley.
I can't wait to see it.
