1985 Jaguar XJS HE coupe. Professionally swapped 1989 Chevrolet L98 5.7L from a single-donor done in 1999 by Jags LTD in Seattle using the Jags that Run kit. Rebuilt TH400 transmission, fully-serviced rear IRS with fresh inboard discs and an LSD. Tons of new parts all over the car, all receipts. 110K documented miles, 20K since swap. No rust, clean Carfax, clean title. Runs and drives great.
Not perfect! Needs a few minor things, front brakes are weak, correct m/c cap is missing, cracked dash, split seams on the seats, some cracked wood, some of the electrics are INOP (go figure). Has a draw on the battery. Paint was a repaint and not well done. Definitely a driver, not a show car.
Reliable! Doesn't overheat, doesn't leak. Located about an hour north of Portland, OR.
$3,200 firm to a GRMer, partial trades considered for any Eastern Bloc car or something Italian.
