I had a little bit of apprehension that going from my flush street setup of 235's on 8" wide wheels to 245's on 9" wheels with the same offset that the 9's would stick out too far. I test fit them tonight and they look good!

And just for a fun comparison here are the 245s next to 205/50 RT660's on stock 6" Miata wheels, and the 245s next to the 235 on 8" wheel. I also weighed all three wheel and tire combinations: 205/50-15 on 6" Miata wheel was 31 lbs, 235/40-17 on 8" Avid 1 wheel was 40 lbs, and 245/40-15 on 9" C3M wheel was 34 lbs - only 3 lbs heavier than the 205 on stock wheel!
