Steve is parting a medium duty truck due to title issies. 200k on it. 454, allison trans, everything to make the swap. Wiring, accessories, driveshaft yoke, computer, everything.
Can hear run, and drive limited amount.

It is? Steve said 454. I knew coil on plug was neat, but is it a guaranteed 496 because of it?
That's not a 8.1. The upper radiator hose goes to the intake manifold. 8.1s don't have water passages in the intake. Plus the throttle body on the 8.1 is on the front, that is on the passengers side, like a Vortec 454 from the late 1990s. Still a good engine, should have the L29 heads on it.
Ok, I didn't think the 454 ever got that type of flat valve cover either. My bad, looks just like my 8.1
If that's an L21 it would have forged pistons and crank. Do you have access to the vin or rpo tag?

It came in the 2500 series that year so other than wiring it up should drop in.

I'm pretty sure it can get 100mpg and load and unload itself while you sit in the cab.

I think a friend gets 12 to 13 empty. But 11 to 12 loaded to the gills.. and doesn’t even knot the car trailer is behind it!
Only thing that needs to change is the front accessory drive and waterpump. Notice how high up the pump is. Other than that it is a regular Big Block Chevy.
