This is probably a long-shot, but I'm looking to see if anyone might have anything performance related for an MGB. I have a 1000% rust-free shell that will be turned into a vintage race car. What am I after, I don't know at this point. Suspension, swaybars, engine pieces/parts, Datsun 5-speed transmission for conversion or ???????
Stick with the 4 synch OD gearbox. Essentially a 6 speed close ratio that can be shifted with the flick of a button.
The swap box would be a Datsun box and it is getting pretty rare. For sure stay with bolt-on wheels.
The MG Experience site has a parts for sale forum and race car forum that might be worth visiting if you have not done so already.
