I am looking for a manual transmission for an Eclipse that I just brought home. It is a 94 Elipse GST that had the transmission literally fall apart while it was driving. I would prefer a 1G FWD transmission for simplicity sake, but I believe that a 2G would work as well. I have even heard that an AWD trans can be modified to work. This project isn't even priority enough to be on the back burner yet, so I'm not in a huge rush to find something. More just looking for a good deal if there is one out there.
I am located in south east Wisconsin but I am not afraid to drive for a good deal.
