I'm looking for an A9P (5.0 w/Auto) or A9L (5.0 w/Man) EEC IV ECM from a 88-93 Ford Mustang.  I recently bought a '93 Thunderbird and plan to use the drive train in my '72 Torino.  Despite being an HO 5.0, the T-Bird doesn't use that ECM.  The A9L and A9P have better tuning support.  I'm also looking for EEC IV tuning equipment like a Quarterhorse or TwEECer.

If you happen to be at a JY and want to lend a hand by snagging an ECM, let me know.

Just checked the two yards here and no Fox body Mustangs.

If you can find them, they are approaching $200/each...

I'm  holding onto mine for a good long time.

Don't  forget some of the others in the same code family such as the a9s, c3m, x3z, and another that escapes me.

I've got this ECU but I have never run it so I can't say if it works or not.

Picked it up when I was doing my 302 swap into my XR4Ti but went with a Microsquirt instead.

Make me an offer.

I sent you a message.

Ignoring wiring mishaps, other than the common capacitor failures, does anyone know of anything else age-related that kills these things?

You'll need to log in to post.
