So are we all ready for tonight?  I have had zero practice so this should be interesting.  I am going to get on a bit early to try and get up to speed.  I am still on the fence about swapping cars.  I mean what could go wrong with getting into a new car on a track that I have not practiced at.    

Tie is simple:  tiebreaker race with the car (used by both participants) randomly drawn and the track (from the list above) randomly drawn

I uploaded a livery set for the cars.  It doesn't have all the cars in it, so you still need the initial set (also up there).  I may try and make a more comprehensive set if I have time before the race.

I will probably just stick with the RX7 to keep it interesting.  Probably not the ideal car for this track.  Just be aware it does not stop or turn quite as good as the other cars.

Great racing everyone!!!!   That was good fun. I had great fun chasing Gameboy in the first race and I don't have a clue what happened behind me in race two. 

Minor point, but week two was Carolina Motorsports Park, AMP is next week.

Ah, that is why there where only 9 races!

Going to see about getting some laps in tonight if anyone is around.  I will hopefully be home before 9:00 EST

I'm out of town so I wont be on tonight.  I should be getting home tomorrow evening with enough time to run with GRM crowd tomorrow with almost zero practice.  Yay.

Some highlights from last week:

Great video. Tonight should be fun. I will try to get on a little early to get some practice in.  

Unfortunately, most of these small tracks to not have pre-set cameras, so the angles are pretty limited.

The car following camera that Gameboy pointed out is nice, but very limited.  It will follow the car from any angle, but it rotates very slowly and only in one direction!  So it's very cumbersome to use.

Air that series with me and I think Pro (yellow car)? at the end of the video was great.  I forgot about that.  That was fun racing!!!

You all realize that GRM is doing 90's throwback T-shirts.  That may be a potential Prize for this series!!!

These are 90's cars after all!!!

Yeah, that's it.  Not as useful as it could be.

Results and standings.   I am thinking of doing one drop for up to race 5, and another 6-10.  This will make it a lot more obvious where every one sits.  Also likely a bit more fair as far as car switching restrictions. So, as of Race 6, the Adjusted Points will be the actual points.  A pretty clear 4 horse race for the top and 3 horse for the bottom at this point.

Looks like a close battle for the points lead. The HC is going to pull things even tighter moving forward. I had some great racing last week!!!  I am looking forward to it continuing.
