I "should" have a good race next week. A much higher speed track than we have run before. I need to get some practice in to optimize my speed on the straights. That kink might be my nemesis though.

aircooled said:Results and standings. I am thinking of doing one drop for up to race 5, and another 6-10. This will make it a lot more obvious where every one sits. Also likely a bit more fair as far as car switching restrictions. So, as of Race 6, the Adjusted Points will be the actual points. A pretty clear 4 horse race for the top and 3 horse for the bottom at this point.
I've only run one race and I'm already beating Grand Total. What a loser.
Picked up some used pedals and wheelbase from Sauce. Now I'm ordering some stuff to complete the kit. I'll have to re-engineer some of it to fit my Playseat challenge so in the meantime I'll continue with the G920. But also in the meantime I'm going to try and shim the hall effect sensor on it to see if that further mitigates the centering issue. If I am lucky I'll get this done tonight and I can actually run some real practice laps this week.
So yes I have a project to fix my wheel so I can use it while I work on the project of getting the right wheel working.
Reached out to GRM about the 90s shirts and was assured that they though have them in stock when the series ends so that is looking like the top runner for the prize for first in this series.
Kinda forgot that this whole "being in Atlanta for work" thing means I won't be able to make the race this week. Pretty bummed, the RX8 was feeling great at the Glen and was looking forward to that.

These recaps are awesome. Naming the incidents makes them even better.
Results and standings (sorted by adjusted points which include the drop): As noted, I will roll one drop in after race 5, and there will be one more drop available to the end. Both Drillin and Sauce look to be in a good position to take the lead.
I was going to say that pro and Colin are going to have a tough go of it this week. It should pull the top of the field together as we come to the mid point of the season.
Its quite possible this week will be a drop week for me, so I may have a crap week next week instead!
I need to figure out how to remote into machine so I can get on the grid and lose, just so I get some of the weight out of the trunk.
@Pro. Remote Desktop in windows would do it but you will have to configure a bunch of things in windows and in you PC security settings and your router. Or the easy button is team viewer that was free the last time I looked.
I like windows Remote Desktop much better but for what you need to do the setup of team Viewer is so painless it is what I would do.
Some really good racing last night!!!! Colin seems unstoppable in the Miata no matter how much added weight he gets. Sauce had a rough go of it in the second race. Airs spectacular crash in practice would have been replay worthy!!!
All in all I am very pleased with how this series and these cars are working out. I am leaning towards changing to the RX7. Testing last night and I was much faster than the FTO but that may also be due to me getting use to the track. I will need to test more before I commit to the Mazda.
Looking forward to next week!!!
The series points are also tight!! It should be a great run down to the end of the series as this I think marked the halfway point.
Results and Standings: For the next race the Adjusted Points will become actual points and another drop will be available.
In reply to aircooled :
Would my drop still be 6 or would it be 5 since that's what I scored this week?
